 |
|
I live in northeastern North Carolina. This was my first experience with datura. I received the seeds from a lady in Sandersville Mississippi in 2005 when I went there as a disaster relief worker. I planted my seeds and two came up. At first I only saw one plant and had learned that they were in the same family as jimson which is a VERY invasive weed here. I pulled up the plant because I was concerned then regreted it. I then found another plant had come up and I let it stay. It had the most beautiful purple and white double trumpet blooms. We had frost before it could form seed pods. I left it alone all winter but it has dried up and there were no seeds where te blooms had been.
I would love to try again and try other colors.
Thanks
Sandy |

Our Seed banker has limited internet access at the moment but ABADS does sell Datura seeds too for $3.00 a package.
Use this URL:
http://www.abads.net/brugmansia_seed_bank.htm
and write 'Datura Seeds' on your order. |

Thank you everyone. I think Sandy is now well fixed for seeds and maybe she would consider joining ABADS for a year and keeping us up with how she does with them.
The members who offered seeds that we didn't use for Sandy..... there is always our seed bank that needs donations so please remember that option as well. |
